Besides the website (internal and external) and emails, the following communication channels are used in WASP: WASP Community Update, WASP Newsletter, Slack and LinkedIn.

WASP Community Update

WASP Community Update is a monthly internal newsletter for the WASP Community. The Community Update contains relevant internal information, e.g., course registration, information about internal and external WASP events, open and upcoming calls, and other updates within the program.

As a member of the WASP community, you receive the Community Update automatically. If you change your email address, it is very important that you notify the WASP Program Office as soon as possible at info@wasp-sweden.org.

If you for some reason do not receive WASP Community Update, please contact wasp.newsletter@partner.liu.se.

WASP Newsletter

The WASP Newsletter is a monthly external newsletter for anyone who is interested. The WASP Newsletter gathers news, recent activities, and upcoming events within the program. Here we also share awarded papers and other achievements accomplished by the PhD students, postdocs, and researchers within the WASP community.

Please note that in order to receive the WASP Newsletter, you need to sign up for it.

Slack

All members of the WASP community are welcome to join the WASP Slack workspace.

There are several open channels where you can interact with others in the WASP community. All WASP clusters have channels in Slack, the use of them is however optional and may therefor vary. There are also channels for each university city where you can connect with your local WASP peers. You can set up private channels and invite people both within and outside the WASP community. Private channels are often set up in connection with international study trips.

WhAt’S uP

Take advantage of the internal notice board – WhAt’S uP – to share information with each other, e.g., interesting conferences and workshops, inquiries on collaborations, reminders of important events, deadlines or similar. You find WhAt’S uP on the WASP Intranet start page.
