Thank you for being part of the program at the WASP Winter Conference 2024 in Norrköping. This is our largest internal event of the year within the WASP Community and we are expecting around 500 participants. Below you will find practical information for you as a speaker or exhibitor.
Last day for registration was December 6th. Please note: All participants are responsible for arranging their accommodation and travel.
Practical information to speakers
Venue
The conference will take place at Louis de Geer Konsert & Kongress, situated at Dalsgatan 15 in Norrköping: Louis De Geer
Program for January 10 and 11
Registration opens at 08.30 in the Flygeln building. The plenary session commences at 10:00 and 09.00 respectively in Flygeln. You should have received the exact time for your speaking slot by email.
Technical test
Before your presentation, we will conduct a technical test, which means you need to be on site early in the morning on the day you are scheduled to give your presentation. We will provide you with the exact time for the technical test later on.
Technical equipment
The available technical equipment include computer, projector screen, headsets, and audio for PowerPoint-presentations. Any other specific requests should be communicated in advance, please contact: wasp@bangagency.com
PowerPoint slides
Please send your PowerPoint presentation to wasp@bangagency.com no later than January 4th. A WASP PowerPoint template for your presentation is found here.
If the file size of your presentation exceeds the limit for email attachments, you can utilize a file transfer service, such as wetransfer.com.
Inform us in advance if your presentation includes video or music, so we can ensure smooth playback.
Preparation before the conference
On December 20th, between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, our moderators Anders Ynnerman and Amy Loutfi will open a timeslot for check-in. This is an opportunity for all of you to meet and discuss any details or questions you may have. We will send out a link to the Zoom meeting well in advance of December 20th.
Practical information to exhibitors
Exhibition schedule
On January 10th, the poster session and exhibition will take place in Värmekyrkan during two separate sessions: 13:40-14:40 and 15:25-16:25.
Practical equipment
The Research Arenas and other exhibitors will be assigned individual spaces, each equipped with a standing table, a conference table, a screen, and space for a roll-up.
Preparation
You can set up your booth between 8:30 and 10:00 on January 10th.
