This area cluster gathers people with interest in various aspects of localization and navigation. The ability to in a reliable, predicable and scalable position oneself or objects in the surroundings is a key component of any autonomous system that interacts with its environment. The WASP Localization and Navigation Area cluster gathers people interested in methods to provide methods to provide this situational awareness. The cluster covers both theoretical aspects of the problem, as well as more application orientated research.
