WARA-PS Summer School

During week 24 we had the pleasure of arranging the WARA-PS Summer School. The participants got the opportunity to get both theoretical and hands-on experience of heterogeneous autonomous systems (of systems) through lectures as well as laboratory assignments. They were also able to experience field robotics research methodology by interacting with the WARA-PS Core system.

In addition to the educational activities, the WARA-PS summer school also included study visits to SAAB The Rainforest and Combitech Reality Labs. The study visits allowed the students to experience the industrial applications of research. Furthermore, the participants visited the LiU Robot Lab where they were given an insight into the research being done, as well as the technology and hardware that is being used  by the research team.

Finally, the participants were able to engage in discussions both with each other and with the members of the WARA-PS team during the conference dinner and during a round of mini golf and hang-out.

Looking forward, we are excited to work towards a continued collaboration with all the participants and hope to see them again soon at Gränsö 2023 and during the project course starting this autumn.
