Courses on Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics given by Uppsala University
The introductory course on Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics (7.5 ECTS credits) given by Uppsala University in September 2022 is open for regular applications until April 19, 2022.
The course, which is free of charge for EU/EAA-citizens, is suited for researchers, post docs, teachers and students who are interested to learn how complex chemical, biological and biomedical processes can be investigated even down to their finest chemical details using informatics. The knowledge acquired is widely applicable in essentially all areas of biology, medicine, drugs and chemistry.
The course literature used is the textbook “Introduction to Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics” (4:th 2020 revised edition, ISBN 978-91-519-6000-5). The book can as well be used as a free-standing introduction to the field.
We also offer two additional courses:
- Applied Structural Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics (5 ECTS credits) (course start September 2022)
- Applied Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics (5 ECTS credits) (course start November 2022)
Note that regular application period is only open until April 19, 2022. Please therefore apply as soon as possible to be able to attend! (However, if you miss the present application period there will be a late application period during summer 2022).
