Webinar ”Predatory academic journals and conferences”

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences is arranging a webinar that connects to the report “Combatting Predatory Academic Journals and Conferences” that was released by IAP, Inter-Academy Partnership, in March 2022.
The IAP report will be presented by Stefan Eriksson, member of the IAP expert group and associate professor in research ethics, Uppsala University, followed by a panel discussion with:
- Dan Larhammar, President of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (moderator).
- Stefan Eriksson, member of the IAP expert group and associate professor in research ethics, Uppsala University.
- Gustaf Nelhans, senior lecturer at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science, University of Borås.
- Anna Dreber Almenberg, Johan Björkman professor of economics, Stockholm School of Economics, Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
- Lynn Kamerlin, professor of structural biology, Uppsala University.
- Bo Söderström, associate professor, editor-in-chief for Ambio, a journal of environment and society published by The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences together with Springer Nature.
