Tip about symposium from Ida-Maria Sintorn, Senior Lecturer at the Division for Visual Information and Interaction, Department of Information Technology, Uppsala University:
The joint 39th Swedish Symposium on Image Analysis (SSBA) and 5th Swedish Symposium on Deep Learning (SSDL), March 14-16 2022, is arranged by the Department of Information Technology at Uppsala University, Centre for Image Analysis, and Swedish Society for Automated Image Analysis. Due to the pandemic, the symposium can’t be held on site in Uppsala, but will be a virtual event.
We invite researchers from academy and industry to contribute to our joint symposium.
SSBA is open for (the usual) short papers on any topic in image analysis, computer vision or pattern recognition. Contributions will primarily be presented orally.
SSDL is open for extended abstracts on any topic of interest within AI, machine learning or deep learning. The contributions will primarily be presented as posters. A number of the submitted contributions will be chosen for oral presentation alongside the keynote talks at the symposium.
You are welcome to submit previously published material, or material which you plan to publish elsewhere. Contributions to SSDL and SSBA will not be made openly available online.
The deadline for submitting abstracts and papers is February 20, 2022, and the registration deadline is February 27, 2022. More details about the event can be found on the symposium webpage http://ssba.org.se/ssba2022/
Hope to see you all at SSBA/SSDL 2022 in March!
