PT-AI 2021 is the 4th Conference on “Philosophy and Theory of Artificial Intelligence”, Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, 27-28 September, 2021.
The conference deals with fundamental issues of present and future artificial intelligence, including basic concepts of AI, ethics of AI, approaches & methods of AI and challenges of AI.
Previous conferences have been in Thessaloniki, 2011; Oxford 2013 and Leeds 2017. Invited speakers at past PT-AI conferences include Ted Berger, Nick Bostrom, Daniel Dennett, Hubert Dreyfus, Luciano Floridi, Brian Cantwell Smith, Rolf Pfeifer, Thomas Metzinger, Matthias Scheutz, Stuart Russell, and Yi Zeng.
This year’s invited speakers are: Virginia Dignum (Umeå, SE), Michael Levin (Tufts, US), David Papineau (KCL, UK) and Shannon Vallor (Edinburgh, UK).
The conference will be hybrid, i.e. online plus on-site, on Lindholmen Conference Centre. Number of on-site places are limited, but the convergence will be streamed over zoom. More information, including registration, can be found at: http://www.pt-ai.org/2021.
